Donate Your Unwanted Gift Cards to Support Goodwill NYNJ Services

Goodwill NYNJ has teamed up with Raise Marketplace to collect your unwanted gift cards!

Have you ever received a gift card for your birthday that you never used or have you found a gift card that has been sitting in your drawer forever?

Starting on Monday, August 1, Goodwill® NYNJ will accept donations of unwanted gift cards and will provide donors tax receipts for their donation in all of its forty-one Goodwill NYNJ stores and three Attended Donation Centers. The donated gift cards will support the services we offer to the community. For any questions about the gift card donation program, please email donations.department@goodwillnynj.org

Katy Gaul-Stigge, Goodwill NYNJ CEO & President says: “We have teamed up with Raise to offer residents a way to get rid of their unwanted gift cards while supporting our mission by simply donating them to Goodwill NYNJ. When people donate clothing, household goods, and now gift cards, 92 cents of every dollar earned will fund the free services we offer to empower community residents through the dignity of work.”

“As an organization that believes deeply in family and community values, Raise couldn’t be more proud to partner with Goodwill NYNJ,” said Raise’s Founder and CEO George Bousis. “We’re thrilled to provide a new way to give the people of New York and New Jersey a new way to support and empower their community.”

Find a participating Goodwill store or Attended Donation Center nearest to you in New York City, Northern NJ, Long Island, the Hudson Valley or the capital region of NY on the Goodwill NYNJ website.
