Program: Careers in Retail

Irene was earning $10 as a Production Worker at our Chelsea boutique when she joined our Careers in Retail program in September 2015. She did well in class from the beginning and stood out from the rest throughout the training. Irene showed potential to succeed and desire to move up the career ladder at Goodwill NYNJ.

After she graduated in December, Irene was promoted to 3rd Key position and only one month later, she was again promoted to Assistant Manager of the West Village boutique with a 50% increase in salary. In less than a year, Irene achieve her goal of landing a supervisory position!
