Parris Caesar joined our Supported Employment program back in 2006. Although Parris had little work experience at the time, he was motivated and enthusiastic to learn. But the journey was long. 

In 2009, Paris was placed at the Goodwill Outlet store as a part-time Production Worker. He quickly stood out as an efficient and dedicated worker. With the assistance of his Job Coach, he soon learned how to recognize high-quality donated goods that were likely to sell fast.

His hard work and positive attitude paid off. Parris was promoted to a full-time Production Specialist position in 2017. Parris was ecstatic. This promotion would allow him to contribute more to his household.

But Paris has higher goals. He hopes to one day become a manager. The Goodwill NYNJ team who has supported him in this journey believes he will achieve this dream – look out!
