Goodwill NYNJ provides pickups for large corporate donations, donation drives, group sales, swap events, and bins placed in residences or businesses.

In order to receive an individual home pick up we require a minimum of 50 bags or boxes of clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, handbags, wares, or other household goods in good condition.

To arrange for a pickup if these conditions are met or to find out alternatives for getting your donation to us, call (718) 777-6418 or email us at donations.department@goodwillny.org.

Individual donors with fewer than 50 bags and/or boxes of our accepted items (please review Goodwill NYNJ Do’s/Don’ts) can use TaskRabbit to set up a low-cost and convenient donation pickup.

Goodwill donors will receive $10 off their first booking by using promo code “GWNYNJ-10”. Book with TaskRabbit today by visiting goodwillnynj.tr.co.

A portion of Task Rabbit’s fee will be donated to local nonprofits.

We no longer keep past records of donation receipts. If you lost a receipt we are happy to provide a blank receipt where you as the donor fill out your value and volume of past donations.

Goodwill NYNJ will still require masks at all store, donation centers, program and administrative locations until further notice. While we are aware that the current guidance doesn’t require masks for vaccinated individuals, we won’t screen the vaccination status of our shoppers or donors. The (NY or NJ) state Department of Health still “strongly recommends” the use of masks indoors when the vaccination status of all the people present is unknown. We’ll continue reviewing our protocol over the coming weeks to stay aligned with health guidance and industry practice. Updates on our mask policy will be communicated as they become available.
